Upcoming Events Around NOLA
Lots of collectors events, music, and more!
There’s a ton of cool and interesting events happening around New Orleans!
I have listed them below in chronological order, and will be updating/sending out the list beginning and middle of each month.
I won’t be at all of these, but you should be! Check them out by clicking Links below each picture.
Happy New Year!
I have been making these posts for over 4 months now, so I just want to say THANK YOU to all the cool people out there who read this newsletter, subscribe to it, and more importantly, show up to these events!
There aren’t too many events happening in 2026… yet! If you know of any cool events that I should add, let me know!
Crescent City Comics has thousands of $1 comics, and a good selection of discounted collected editions for sale on 1.10! Sometimes there’s even a box of toys out on a table or two. I try to go to each one of these they put on and then stop for coffee across the street. They have a handful of these sales a year! Check it out before the good stuff is gone!
The CCC website is here
Dead Media Market! The next one is on 1/24 at Rally Cap Brewing Baton Rouge.
This is a must-attend event for those who have a passion for physical media. Hundreds of VHS tapes, Vinyl records, video games, comic books, wax packs, toys, and more! Free admission! This event rotates locations, and is friendly to new vendors.
Check it the Facebook page for these events here
South Mississippi Toy Fest is back at an all-new location for another event on 2/7. This event has some really great vendors and wonderful people, despite the ai “art” used in the flyer. Check it out if you can make the drive up to Hattiesburg, and go ask them about why they used ai art here
Welp, that’s all the events that I know for sure will be happening in the next few months. I know of more happening later in the year, but I don’t want to get too ahead of myself. I expect more events to pop up as we move into Mardi Gras, (which is on February 17th! Eek!) and then transition into spring, so keep your eyes peeled for new events happening in your area!
Speaking of Mardi Gras, here’s a cool Mardi Gras playlist I made a few years ago. Over 9 hours of cool tunes, and I keep adding to it as I see fit.
As I did back in my college radio days, I have tried to showcase some of the forgotten hits and hidden gems from yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Check out the link to the playlist Here!
